Our Rooms
The Beacon Centre has a number of rooms that the community is able to rent.
Our biggest room is the main hall. We provide seating for up to 70 people.
Beacon Centre Main Hall
The main hall can be used in a variety of ways, including classrooms, presentations, meetings and parties.
Beacon Centre Kitchen
The Beacon Centre kitchen is usually available for rent to the group that rents the main hall.
IT Room
The IT Room has been set-up so that plugs are available all around the room for running IT workshops and training. It can also be used as a meeting room.

How much does it cost to rent the rooms?
Rooms are rented out per hour:
- The Main Hall is £30 per hour
- The IT room is £20 per hour
- The Grocer is £20 per hour
- The Kitchen is £30 per session
In addition, there is also a centre charge of £40.
There is a cash security deposit of £200 which will be returned providing all terms and conditions of room hire have been met (full details can be supplied).
When do I get the deposit back?
The £200 deposit will be returned the Thursday after the rental event. This is so that the premises can be inspected and any noise complaints heard to decide whether all or part of the deposit should be retained.
When do I have to pay the room hire?
The full room hire fee must be paid on or before the Monday before the event. The cash security deposit must be paid by the Thursday before your room hire, to ensure access.
